Sessions Revisited

November 28, 2005

Exams are over for the year! Which is excellent news, the start of the Christmas holidays. Did I mention that things are falling into place? Well they are and falling at the right time in the best place.

The exams were okay and slightly surprising. Maths B wasn’t that difficult, I think that I did okay with that one which is good as I’ve been trying so hard at it. Physics was bizarrely quite straight forward, did well with that one I think. IT was pretty messed up, they made a few big boo boos which kinda put me off the exam a bit. Almost got the exam cut in half because of network failures which were resolved. I did mixed with IT. Maths A which was on today I found in a triffle challenging but so many other people said that it was easy. Beats me I really couldn’t be too fussed about it though.

After Maths A I said my goodbyes to a few people which was kinda heart warming. Said my last goodbye to Nanami the Japanese exchange student, Chris and I got a picture with her about 2 weeks ago so that’s alright. Might get it up in the pictures section soon enough, just gotta con some friends into saying yes and the album will be chockas.

Last weekend Chris won a game at the LPC which is a lan, games tournament event which we go to. It was Hulk Ultimate Destruction for Gamecube which I’m really lapping up, Its such a fine game. Probably because its got s similar structure to the GTA series. That’s another thing that I gotta pick up some GTA games for PC. Chris and 2 other friends went in, I had to work.:( Supposively they all had a great time and wanna go again which is good. Next one is next year which should be good. Chris won Hulk for coming 2nd in a Mario Kart DD comp, which is so humiliating because Chris has nothing on me in Mario Kart. Oh well.

It was cool after the Maths A exam, saying bye to people. Its also great as my close friends were all in the same place. Some of them on NRX which was great, got another friend onto NRX which is nice. Like the others he seems to be enjoying it there. Then we left to the train station and had some great conversation going. Once we got closer to home I popped in the local library and told them that we’d be back for doing some volunteering over the holidays, also picked up U2 How to dismantle an anotic bomb and Massive Attack 11 Promos(DVD). Massive Attack are just plain weird, I think that I’ll give them a miss. U2 is good, oh and there coming to Adelaide in March! When browsing the library the Live version of Yellow by Coldplay came on the TV which helped continue to push the streak.

Found out my work hrs when I got home. I didn’t even ask for any extra hrs or mention that schools finished and I got 16hrs which is fantastic. Got my holidays hrs sorted out as well which is great. I also got a call from John, he wants to head into Adelaide soon so we’ll go in a few days. Therefore I can pick up Accelerated C++. Kerching.

Sool good at this end, all good.

We Use to Shake the Beehive

November 14, 2005

I hate this time of year, Right before exams. But its worst this year as there is no school and instead time to revise before the exams. It makes it worse because its not quite holidays. Its so pain stakingly close but yes exams are in the way. So I’ve been doing the necessary revision for my first exams; Maths B. I want to go really well in the exam as I have found it such a through subject which is full to the brim with stuff and quite a challenge. But damn this revision is really pushing my self discipline. Luckily we had a chapter test last week so I am pretty good at one of the chapters which is of the exam. I’ll say one thing, they are 2 friggin huge chapters. At least I have that and then a few days later Physics which gets my 2 biggies out of the way. Plus only 4 exams overall!

I feel so tired due to all of this damn brain work. Plus the hayfever. Argh I cannot wait till exams are over. But then I gotta arrange some events to happen as I feel as though this holidays we’ll be my busiest yet. Oh and I’ve also been using my new phone a bit. Its pretty cool. Got a few text messages from people which is great.

Work is going well, we now have the new registers and I get trained sometime this week which should be fun. Got an extra hr of work for this week as well. Goody! I should hopefully be able to pick up a laptop near Christmas due to the stock take sales.

I also now have Mario Kart DS which is a great game. Haven’t been playing it too much though. Oh and we should be getting the new kitchen put in soon as well. Things aren’t looking bad just hope that things turn out well enough. I wanna return to C++ some time as well. I spose I’ll do some NRX stuff in the mean time.

Dentrigate

Aye what a week. Its closing in on the end of school and the start of another holiday season. Man I am so dying to pick up my laptop near Christmas. I’m pulling out all of the stops to ensure that I can get it asap. So I won’t be buying much until Christmas. Infact only some prezzies, Mario Kart DS and maybe some small things on the side. I just gotta save up for this laptop. I know the one that I want and its for a pretty good deal. Its an Acer laptop, Windows Xp Home, 1024mb of ram, 100gb hard drive, multi layered DVD burner and the right wireless stuff. For $2000. Pretty damn good deal if you ask me.

You might ask why I am so desperate for a laptop. Its mainly so that I can use a computer when I need to. As ATM I don’t really get much of a chance with my brother sucking up every spare second of his life on the ruddy thing. I wouldn’t over use it or anything. Just so that I can freely use it without him getting in a tizzy and at the same time having enough time to get somewhere. I plan on re-launching my coding with a new and much easier book to learn. As well as some other large projects that I wanna blitz through. Did I mention the new NRX as well. Yeah they should all keep me busy.

All I gotta do is get there. So I’d better stop thinking about it and start doing some stuff. Phew, can’t wait for some freedom. Yay!

On a pleasing note the NRX boards have jumped up in the past few days, our hits have been going increasingly up and up. Not to mention a more variety in our members. Its all great to see.

The terrible hay fever season has been terrible. I’ve had a headache for most of the weekend. Ugh. To make it worst I have to put up with Chris who is as moody, selfish and god damn smelly as all hell. Argh get me away from him! Anyways I wanna go to bed. Chow.

Got some great ideas for here. By the time Chris uploads this they’ll prolly be up already so yah.:/

Wait a sec Mario Kart DS out next week and it’ll be all mine!!!
