I’m gonna make this one fairly short as I am tired. I survived the week, my Chinese oral went alright, I was a bit nervous though. The IT assignment was delayed for another 2 weeks. Argh, never will get our drafts back. Pretty ridiculous, even more ridiculous is that we had 4 lessons to do the IT exam, 4 lessons! For a 2 lesson test. At least I am assured that I will get a high mark for it. My assignment is almost finished just need to make a few edits and finish up. We have 3 chinese mini tasks for holidays, each about 300 characters on a certain topic. We also had a Physics practical during the week so we have a write up for that. Oh and on the second to last day we were reminded of the oral presentation topic summary which we were supposively told about 3 weeks ago. So I had to do that on Friday. The maths studies exam went well. The week was rather rearranged I think. In any case its the holidays now so I should be happy. I have set myself plenty of revision of all Maths chapters, some Physics and Chinese. Oh and the afore mentioned assignments. That with a pile of goals that I have set myself, general, game, computer and graphics based goals. Mostly catching up in stuff like reading materials and getting some rest. Its great I have about 7hrs of 24 to watch, yay!

I hope that I haven’t set too much as I do need to rest this holidays. Maybe I’ll make my revision a bit lighter, still do it all but not as heavily as I’m expecting as I have a pretty good grasp of things.

It sounds weird but I don’t want to go out too much this holidays, I’m busy enough as it is with work, these planned subject days, Avcon, my birthday and the usual pile of events with friends. Well I’d love to go out heaps and plenty of great opportunities are arrising I just don’t wanna lose scope of the big picture.

The highlight of the week is when Chris and myself caught up with our schools Sace coordinator, he’s such a gun, wish that he taught us Physics this year. In any case together we determined our TER scores(yes I know this is contradictory of lasts week entry but I haven’t done it yet and he would be able to get a good idea). I am heading for an 88% TER score which doesn’t include scaling of subject which would most likely push it up a few pegs. Yay thats such a high score.

We also picked up our reports this week. I was disappointed as they were marked with As and Bs and not in %s. But not everything had been marked when they were composed etc. I am quite pleased with my results, they were a bit higher than what I had told the Sace co-ordinator when determining, but I think thats only because of the teachers prediction of the marks. In any case I got 2 A- for IT and Chinese, B’s for both Maths and a D for Physics, which sucks but yeah Physics is very hard. The best thing about the report is that for the first time ever I have a better report than Chris. Ain’t it great?

Anyways got stuff to do.

Last Scene of Struggling?

Current longing: End of this weekOne week until the 2 week holiday break. My first break for the year(as the first one was taken up by the China trip). Man just thinking back to this time last term. Man I was so exhausted. Now I have hit that point again. Somehow I managed to survive the current term. Not sure how I got over being so tired. I just pushed on thru I guess. I’ve only got a week left yay!

Pity that its full of work. I have my Chinese oral tommorow, goes for over 4 minutes, 4 minutes is the minimum but I have around 5. IT exam on the same day and a Maths Studies test on Friday. Oh and that IT major assignment Argh I hate Maths Studies its so gimmicky. Specialist has some(we are now bordering into what we are doing in Studies, argh!) real maths in it which is what I enjoy. I hate learning for something that is meaningless.

Survived the Physics mid year exam as well with poor results, well if I were to tell you what I got thats what you’d say but they were actually around the average. Yay, I tried pretty hard at that one.

Revising for it held up a tonn of my other assignments. Actually most of what I have this week is stuff that I really shouldn’t be doing this week. Out IT assignments have been dragged on for so long. We haven’t even got a draft back from like 6 weeks ago, its just so frustrating as I could have finished it weeks ago but its still around the place. And guess what with a week before its due(due date pushed back 2 weeks because we still hadn’t got our drafts back!!!) we still haven’t got them back. The exam was already pushed back a few weeks as well. I could have finished my Chinese oral if I didn’t have to stay up late revising Physics because we have a ‘Rave day’ the day before the exam. Or these stupid surveys, assemblies, self improvement classes and all of the other distractions that constantly get put in our path. It may be fine for people that do subjects like tourism but for people like myself its a major hassle. I don’t care about doing some stupid survey just so that a Uni student can get their piece of paper or how to make myself a better person by using common sense. Ugh!

Another thing that gets my goose. People these days just don’t want to work. Every Maths lesson we have people talking and playing with the interactive white boards. Sure it might be fine for them to whore it out 10hrs straight the night before an important test but its not my cup of tea. In Chinese the ruddy year elevens just talk they are so damn rude and ignorant. Study lessons are the exact same.

There are 2 things that get my goose above all of the distractions. That is when you hear someone every lesson say something like ‘I am so busy with all of this work, Its unfair, what can I do? Its not possible’ when if they just shut up and work they wouldn’t need to worry about that. The second thing is just beyond frustraing. Its when those people get a better grade than you and yet they haven’t even learnt of the chapter in which they studied for. Something else although a bit minor is when people constantly garble on about TER scores and SACE and that kinda thing, then they try to calculate their aggrogate. OMG people just do your best then you don’t need to worry about what you are getting because you cannot possibly get any higher then that!!!

Yeah this stuff pisses me off, this wasn’t meant to be a bitch session but its my blog so neh!

I think that one of my problems is that I work too much during the week I just can’t stand working much on the weekends. I dunno, in any case I should’ve been doing some Maths Studies. I’m sure that I’ll be fine as I have been for so long.

Thats right I’ve almost forgotten, last Friday we played music during our Specialist class, I can’t believe it. The music may have been good but still and people weren’t agreeing with me, they thought that it was a good idea. Argh!

Chris has just informed me how busy this week will be with a China trip meeting and the Chinese trip on Wednesday night. Oh man, looks like I’ll have to plan this week to the second, its been a while.
