Last week of school! Its actually more exciting than I originally first thought that it would be. Despite the harder times ahead, most people seem in pretty high spirits. Which is pleasantly suprising.
I can now successfully say that I have beaten Chris in the school work rank. That is overall. I am a few marks ahead in Chinese, Maths Specialist and Maths Studies. I also scored the 2nd best in my Physics class for the major assignment. Just lovely that.
If I managed to beat Chris in the final exams then I would have easily broken the game open and have won the battle of the TERs. But I have a feeling that it won’t happen. Just have to see how it goes. Its likely that we’d score similar in Chinese and Maths but Physics will most likely seperate us.
Brought my camera to school today and got some great pictures of the guys and gal in our ‘group’. It was nice. One of the best photos taken tho was really good, prolly the best photo of us ever imo. Its got a few of my friends lifting me up. Great stuff.
Got exams next week then a weeks break until the Maths Specialist final exam. Then I’m done! Its quite convient, Nintendo have the Australian Wii tour on the day after my last exam so I can head into town and try that out. Its a pity as one of us has more exams after specialist so we can’t have a smooth transitions from school, to John’s place, to Wii tour. But thats fine.
PrimeScape will be up shortly after exams, so look forward to it. I’ll stop it there.

Its been a pretty interesting week back at school this week. I’ve been busting my gut with my revision. I’ve put in so much effort but I don’t think that I have gotten through as much as I would have liked. Which is sort of disheartening.
Lets go thru the motions eh? Monday, Chris and I went to John’s and had a regular little gaming gathering, Cam rocked up later in the day. Tueday, first day back. It was rather obscure as I have had 2 weeks of self indulgence and then had to get back into it and not try and drag on the holidays. Which I did just like flicking on a switch. Despite people not going too well in the Maths Specialist test people still seem content on wasting lesson time talking about trivial issues of the general intellectual kind. Man its so frustrating, excluding the notable effort that Chris puts into his work I am the only person in the work who puts his head down and works the whole time. No one else does work. Which is terrible considering that we are meant to be the clueyest(?) kids in the grade. What worsens the matter is that these people that don’t work every lesson sometimes get better marks then myself. This is especially true in Physics. Frustrating indeed.
Talking about lazy we haven’t received our Maths trial exams back either. We’ve gotten Chinese and Physics but no Maths. Disappointed in both of the marked exams. Chinese I should have got a bit higher, I could have if I scabbed marks like everyone else but I was content with what I got. ‘You’re given what you get’ is what these people should follow. I also obviously went terrible in the Physics exam, altho it wasn’t my worst score ever(also see Physics) but it was the worst in the class. Which also makes me feel terrible as other people didn’t even revise for it yet I started revision weeks ahead.
Things have been pretty good with the mates this week. People seem mega keen on having plenty of anime gatherings over the holidays which is fine by me.
A job offer had popped up in our schools bulletin which intrested me. It was for someone to start off doing retail/admin at a stationary store and then move onto doing graphic design for when they increase the size of the business. This would be where other businesses come it, pitch a design(being print media like business cards and pamphlets) and you would create it for them. This would be mega sweet. It has everything that I needed. Except that it was only for fulltime. Which although great isn’t what I could manage with University next year. So I talked to the teacher that had received the placement from the business and she checked with them and they definitely wanted a full timer(Italian folk, ruining my life, eh?). But she told me where to go to get a local job in design, apparently there’s plenty of opportunities which is very suprising as I have read heaps about Uni grads not being able to find employment. I’ll definitely check it out. It would be much better doing designs then retail mofo over at Harris Scarfes.
Last bit of interesting news for the week. I managed to get hold of the next Jamiroquai single which isn’t released yet. Radio is the name. As dubbed by the website its a ‘racious rock song’. Many fans were surprised that it wasn’t as rock like as they expected. Infact they liked it. Its very different I’ll give it that. Now I like every Jamiroquai song. I can’t not like any of them. Actually one or two of the songs on Travelling Without Moving bug me a bit. But Radio really pisses me off. Now thats saying quite a lot. I spose I need to let it grow on me more, but I really don’t like it so far. It seems so over the place, hard to follow and just so mixed up. Some of the lyrics are a bit too permisciuos as well for example:

I spose thats pretty tame as the song is about a threesome. Its good though as its; different(adds to the ‘portfolio’ I spose), plenty of natural sound and theres a good use of all of the band members. It just gives me a headache ATM.
Maybes its the cold that I have picked up for Cam. I’m feeling a bit worn out today.
Lets wrap up, the template for the new PrimeScape shall hopefully be adapted this weekend. Then I just need to touch it up a bit. It should be up in time for the end of school, as a worst case scenario. Then again the holidays aren’t too far off now. Only 4 weeks until freedom, thats just a month! Yay!
I could be uploading pictures of stuff but I am delaying it until PrimeScape is up. Which should flow in nicely with the likelihood of pics during the holidays. I feel as tho I am working harder than I ever have this week. So I had better get going and keep at it.

Way to cram up the entries in the last few days Dan.
What’s alive you say? The PrimeScape template is almost finished. I just need Chris to cap stuff off and then to actually configure stuff like pages and whatnot. But currently all entries are on a wordpress system on a local server. I can’t wait until its up. Here’s a few hints about what the new design is like:
-its all greyscale
-has a vector themed header
-its made for 800 x 600 resolution
I’m going to start off using the template and then overtime make some tweaks to it. Probably colorize it and make it for a larger resolution. I’m pretty pleased with it. Just at the start of the holidays I made another template for it which had the same color scheme as the old site. But I like this one, it more suits my personality more so. There will also be no portfolio to start off with as I’ll need a pile of WordPress mods/more work setting up by myself. Its not really needed just yet anyways. I might even just make a separate Flash site for it.
I’m also planning to make more tweaks to how I blog in future. I’ll try and cut down the jibber jabber and focus more on the articulate and whitty stuff. I’ll start using images and smilies in my blog. I think that over 50 entries I have used only 1 smilie. Probabl use subtitles that are bolded as well. Just to make it a better read. I’ll also be plugging the blog more so it should get more hits. As I unfortunately noticed that Chris had about 10 more views in his NRX blog than me. Altho I haven’t updated that for a month now.
Still its an insult so I must correct it! I also plan to add a series of links on the site, a small about section, archive and also a small site updates section. I’ll also tweak the main page to only show the 3 latest entries.
Once all that is done it’ll be up. I plan to include a variety of other cool features. Mainly using plugins. So they’ll be poll’s, photo album, an avatar for me, maybe some small admin/site aiding stuff and anything cool that I can find.
That is right I plan on bringing the photo album pack, so all pictures that I post will go into the album. I need to find a good plugin first. I’ll start off packing it with pictures of me, Chris, mates, family, me in China and my Gundams. Yes, thats right you read correctly Gundams, I finished another one the other day. Its from the Generation Zero series so its like a large head one. I think that its even the same character as the last one. I’ll upload the 3 pics that I have ready for it in my first official PrimeScape(2.0) entry. The shots look shitty tho as there’s terrible ISO issues with em. 
In anycase, I’ll smarten my blog/blogging up and hopeful with the next entry the new site will be up. So in the mean time be sure to check out danielprimed.com everyday to see if its update.
BTW I’ll also chuck in links and thumbnails to my latest art stuff and maybe ammusing links.
