Man, its pretty exciting, only 5 weeks left of school left. Man thats so great. I’m so pleased with how well I have done this year. I feel so fortunate, I have a casual job position selling stuff that I am mostly interested in, I have my own laptop in which everything is set up well, good friends and family and I am on the right path in life. I feel really great.

I’ve been thinking about this year, the good times and the bad. Its been an interesting year, I think that I have come a long way. Many of the ‘I’m at a junction now, what shall I do?’ problems have been solved in this very blog. I bet that I’ll be reminiscing the year sometime and then think back to what I use to do at the start of the year and then thinking ‘gosh, wasn’t I just so terrible at this or that etc’.

I think that some of my friend relationships have taken a backseat because of school, the constant load of work and just being caught up in it all. Last year use to be great, our group use to do stuff together every week. Due to a terrible Christmas holidays and also casual work we haven’t been doing much together this year. This is why I can’t wait for some of the summer parties that we have planned. Straight after the final exam is one of my mates birthdays so that can kick things off, then from there we just keep the ball rolling with the some of the parties planned and then smaller gatherings. It should be sweet.

The Wii launch party that we have planned is gonna go from 1pm in the afternoon to close to lunch time the next day, thats almost a whole 24hrs. Should be fabulous. I’m actually really hyped for this party unlike the last one. If things worked out nicely we could even have 3 console there. But considering that we mainly wanna focus on the Wii, I think that we can space it out nicely with some time for people just to kick back and relax.

Odd, isn’t it? I’m nearing the end of my holiday and this is the first blog entry that I have done. What have I been doing you ask? Not much. Just reflecting back on the holidays that have been this year. First holiday I was in China, second one I needed some well earned rest, after a long time without a break, damn I needed that. But I did quite a bit during then. Ah yeah thats right, we had our b-day bash. So what about this holiday then Dan? Well, as I call it, it’s my I’m in hiding, go away! sorta holidays. I had nothing planned, just to (finally) not have to concern myself with everything and everyone else for a little while. So I’ve been catching up, sleeping in and binging out. I just need this time for myself. Infact to be honest, this holiday is just a non event to me. Even on this holidays I am planning for the Christmas holidays. Because as far as I am concerned there is still some business to finish off and until its finished I just have to wait it out. Yeah we’ve got a validictory service after the exams, but I couldn’t care less. I just wanna soak up summer. Instead of waiting it out, I’ll be sponging it out. I just wanna celebrate it all out. Thats why I am looking forward to some of the gatherings Chris and I are planning. I’m hoping that Matt and I can whip something together thats a bit different. I just want that to work. That would be the best, I definitely should try and make it work. Anyways, go away I’m in hiding! -DP
