Some Links will Never Change
May 15, 2007
Hey folks, I’ve got a pile of links and stuff to post about so lets get into it.
Last weekend wasn’t too bad I had a haircut, did a brief bit of shopping and had mothers day on the Sunday. I was really happy with my new haircut, got my fav hairdresser this time. Its just a shorter version of the same old, with a bit more left at the back.
Just the way I like it.
Chris picked up a few CDs on the weekend:
Eyes Open Snow Patrol
Minutes to Midnight Linkin Park
Black Fingernails Red Wine Bonus edition Eskimo Joe
I haven’t listened to Eskimo Joe yet as I’m not really interested. Eyes Open is okay but I think that the album doesn’t deserve as much popularity. I guess I’m already faithful to other bands of the same genre.
Minitues to Midnight is very interesting. Its very alternative, I like it..probably less so than LPs previous albums. But thats not because its bad, I don’t think that LP have hit the mark with this one. And I rekon that they know it. They seem to still be searching for their new sound. Saying this I love Bleed it out and Hands held high they have such excellent lyrics and definetly deserve major kudos.
There are two songs that I want to link out to. Specifically I want to link out to a song that I’ve been interested for a long time but have only now gotten around to listening to it again.
That is the song Changes by 2Pac. Its such an inspiring song, I’ve the song in my head for at least a week. I’ll try and keep an eye out for his Greatest Hits CD so I can pick that up.In anycase check out the clip:
The other clip I wanted to show is from the new Finger Eleven CD, catchy song and impressive video, I like the new direction. I just have to hunt down the CD as it get such a limited release down here IMO.
On a few last words I got a B for my Capsicum Planet Brochure which I am happy with. I’ll have some more featured entries soon. Thanks for reading. DP

Most listened Black Capricorn Day - Jamiroquai
Most played Mario and Luigi Partners in Time(DS)
This week I am feeling (continously) more happy with myself. I’ve managed to catch up with friends more so this week so I’m really pleased.Last Friday Chris and I (finally) joined Cam at this games group that they have at Uni. I reckon that we’ll prolly do that for a few hrs every week from now on as we all had a great time. Really brings out that gaming pride in you.
Things have also clicked into place nicely at my other Uni. I really enjoy going there as I get on really well with the people in my program. Its such a friendly environment. Although this weeks homework is totally mind numbingly annoying. I can’t stop putting it off. Argh!
Beyond that I’ve managed to do a bit of every thing this week. I’ve finally sat down and started reading my cameras manual. Look forward to taking some happy snaps. I’ve also gather more materials to help PrimeScape’s readership. I am not expecting as many hits this month as(last month) most of the hits were from tutorial indexers. Instead I am focusing on building up a stronger readership.
There should be a slight re-arrangement of Primescape in the coming weeks, I have everything set up I just need Chris to implement them. Its a lot of small tweaks that will make the site better.
Umm yeah I think thats all for this week. Oh wait I finished a template for a client, you’ll see that one later on. I’ve also been meaning to blog more but I have been pretty busy, this is only likely to worsen in the coming weeks, unfortunately.

Most listened C’mon People(we’re doin’ it now!) - Richard Ashcroft
Most played Mario and Luigi Partners in Time(DS)
G’day fellow gamers, designers, photographers, bloggers and/or Space Cowboys. It’s time again for me to dispel some nonsensical jib jab about the last few weeks of my life into this rectangular box. I hope that got you excited as I couldn’t think of a thought provoking intro. You’ll be glad to know that my hard advertising efforts for PrimeScape has paid off and the site has received a good amount of fresh hits this month. Yay. The feed subscribers have also increased too.
Lemme quickly run thru the past few weeks. I’m still getting plenty of hours at work so my weekends have been busy with that. Despite this I have still managed to catch up with friends a number of times, which is great. I also seem to be running into people more recently this week.
Due to the Anzac day off last week it meant that after Monday I only had 2hrs of Uni for the rest of the week. So with my time off I actually got to play some games, yes! I’ve also been working on a wordpress template for a friend of mine.
Today I also borrowed an ancient(1983) photography book from the Uni library. I figured that it should help me with the new camera and so far I have picked up some of the newer terminology. Such as what settings for what photography scenarios.
Before I wrap up the main stuff I want to post this picture of the 100s and 1000s easter egg that Chris got me for easter:

Linkies
Ok, this week I have even more places that I want to link to.
The first one is from Andreas Bard, I’ve been reading the last few entries in this blog and I’ve found the content to be really useful stuff. I reckon that the Starting a healthier lifestyle entry is my favourite though, so have a good read thru.
I also wanted to link out to an entry that summarised the weekly Nintendo news really well. Its been a positive week for Nintendo and this entry from Virtua blog really retells that news well.
The most exciting link for this week though comes from Simon Merrick whom has started up a site to match(and better) the greatness of mtey. That is; a brand new place to go for Jamiroquai bootlegs! Its called Jamiroquai Bootleg Vault . The site is an improvement over mtey as all of the files aren’t hosted on some poor soles server but at file uploader sites. This also allows other fans to add to the collection. I’m currently cleaning up on the EOPE era.
Oh and I forgot to post this link last time around. This is the brochure that I did for my design class. So check it out.
DP out!
