Ummm yeah, lets see here. My girlfriend unfortunately broke up with me. Yeah it totally sucks balls. But I guess thats how life works out eh? Despite that its helped me bring closure to this annoying design vs chinese idea as well as a few other things. Funny that.
Anyways that makes a nice intro for the next part, since I now have Saturday free I’ve been thinking about how obligations affect our lives. I guess this basically comes down to the ‘growing up’ issues that us gaming enthusiasts have.
The days aren’t like they were when we were kids. Now we have responsibilities; school, work, a social life and whatever other distraction from our own fun time. I’ve discovered that my University life is becoming too similar to year 12. Work all thru the week and then am busy on the weekends. I’ve been getting quite a few hours at work, which is great and not so great at the same time. I’m still trying to find that balance. Which is difficult as my work load is so obscure. Most of the work is given at the start of the week and then I basically get a few free(ish) days to do that work.
This whole girlfriend thing, starting Uni and design vs chinese has thrown me onto a total discourse. But I’m sure that I’ll be able to figure things out.
BTW Chris picked up Grim Fandango. Oh man, too sweet!

I have said it many times before and I will say it again. I am going to need on year of full time gaming just to get through all of my games after doing my degree. I can’t wait for that year.
