Most listened: Yourself or someone like you – Matchbox 20

Because I am so happy ATM, I shall make this the first entry of the new PrimeScape. Yes thats right folks. This is the new PrimeScape! As of writing not everything is finished, but I know how it’ll turn out.

Be sure to check out the site, I have some new interesting areas. The picture gallery should also be set up and full of great photos to look at. Any feedback is welcomed. So just pop an email into me @ (my new and definitive) email address daniel@danielprimed.com . After making 3 templates for PrimeScape I decided on this one as it encompasses the feel that I want for the site. Something charming and simple.

Anyways, the last week has been fantastic. I brought the digital camera to school for the last 4 days and have gotten piles of photos of my friends and teachers. Everyone has been in high spirits and bonding really well. Its made me feel really comfortable with myself. I was so pleased with the photos that I got. I probably only missed a few people overall. I’ll go thru some photos thru the entry.

Our group(me in the middle)

I also had 4 tests, in the past 4 days – Maths Specialist(Differential Equations), Physics(Photons), Chinese(Oral) and IT(Flash components). Maths and Physics weren’t too great but I reckon that I got close to 100% in the IT and Chinese. The IT was a skills test where I had to make 2 programs using components and Chinese was where you sit in a room and speak chinese to examiners for about 10-15minutes. They ask you questions too. I had a blast with both of those.

Today was a fantastic day. The final day of school! The day started at about 11:30. We had a general year 12 service which only went for a bit over an hour. Then we had a while for ‘shirt signing’ and a lunch. Chris and I got our shirts signed from our friends group and then lunch was close to ready and everyone was told to go outside. So I did and was bombarded with more shirt signing. I hadn’t had anything to eat all day so I grabbed some pizza(they had 75 pizzas total) and took 2 bites and was interrupted by more signing. Once I thought things died down I sat down and started on the second slice, once I finished that I was somehow full. Don’t know where my drink went. Then I found Chris and we went around to finish the signings. I was so thrilled with how many signatures and messages I was getting. We also took a few photos with people.

After that another service, a Eucharist. I didn’t take part in it. Some really deep and important things were said tho which surprisingly stuck a chord with some feelings I’ve had this year. Once that was over a few more photos/signs. Then Chris and I wrapped up payments for the validicatory dinner and lockers and also said goodbye to a few people. With the time from the final to the service to getting home I got to read the messages that people wrote. It made me feel awful. I usually wrote something like ‘best of luck with future endevours’ yet I got some really honest and beautiful messages. It really means a lot to me. I feel so let down that my messages weren’t as interesting.

Chris and the dudes on the bus, what champs

I feel so fortunate for everything that has happened to me. Man I’m so lucky. Once these exams are over then I’ll be a ‘free man’. How exciting. I can’t wait to not have the pressure of year 12 anymore and be able to focus on the future. I’m really apt to start preparing myself for success over the holidays as well as having a good time. Thanks for reading folks. If you want you can subscribe to the RSS feeds and remain up to date with everything. I’ve got a new section in the blog where I do indepth articles. I have about 3 or 4 in the assembly line, so look out for them. And if I have anything like digg the entry, email to a friend, bookmark, whatever, be sure to take advantage if that.

Good vibes

"We can tell other people about - having faith. What we had faith in. What we found important enough to fight for. It's not whether you were right or wrong, but how much faith you were willing to have, that decides the future."
