Neglection

It’s all been a bit like that hasn’t it? I haven’t posted anything on here for two months. I’ve never understood people who just leave their blogs there, lying in their audience’s wait and now I am a more than active (or is that inactive) participant.

The last post, in part explains my absence. I’ve been trying to rid myself of online clutter and was pondering the worth of this blog. For now though I think this hide-e-hole(?) is worthwhile, especially as I leave for ShangHai very soon. That’s right! I managed to somehow dodge, duck and dive my way through the overly complication, overly needless process of being allow into China and am now all set to go.

In the last two months I have been on holidays. That is the usual mid year University time off and then another month in transit, waiting for the Chinese education year to come around in September. In this time I’ve *checks Rainy* had my 20th Birthday, spent plenty of time with my friends, two of them (my exchange friends) have returned back to China, I’ve done plenty of blogging and guest writing as well as playing games and all of the regular jazz.

It has all largely been on and off as friends have had University while I have been preparing for the exchange. This has given me plenty of time to write and play games during the ‘off’ periods.

Where to from here? Well I would like to use this site to post updates and interesting tidbits about my travels in China. I’ll also try and accompany this with flickr and Twitter updates.

Oh yeah, I also won a second scholarship for a year, all paid at ZheJiang University which is China’s 3rd best University and because of the terribly late notice (of a few days ago) I am trying to get it pushed to the end of my other scholarship, effectively giving me a year and a half of scholarship funded education in China. Hopefully that’ll pull through.

I am unsure of if I will be transfering campuses in the first week while over there so updates will come as soon as possible.
