Its official this entry along with an edited one from a while back shall be posted in my blog! Sorry about the lack of talk in the last few months, something has been bothering me and I have gladly fixed it.

I’m too tired to see if I’m gonna post it but in case it isn’t posted I have split up with Krystal due to powers out of our control. It sucks but we’ve sorted things out and are back to normal if not better friends.

I’ve been progressing well at school except a terrible physics test result. Which is really frustrating as our teacher doesn’t really give us much of an opportunity to learn conceptual problems which is what physics tests are about. Plus I am not a real sciency kinda person, I just don’t bend to that type of thinking. Its not as though I didn’t try hard I busted my gut to go well. Its just so frustrating. I;m also dreading the big oral task which isn’t for a long way off yet. Physics students are so much more critical than other students. I reckon that I’ll do something to do with cameras as I wanna learn a bit more about them. I think that my confidence can push me thru if I incorporate enough media and don’t think too much.

I’ve been happy with how I’m doing though as I am doing my best under these set conditions. Just busy revising for the mid year tests, all bar Maths count for summative results.

I’ve also been moving along nicely with my graphics. Made some awesome sigs lately with no brushes. I love abstract smudging! Been posting around a bit to get the site hits up a bit which has paid off fairly nicely. The community is going suprisingly well especially in the past 3 days. I’m really surprised this week as we have 7(as of 2 days left) signatures entered.

I’ve also been doing some research into photography as it interests me quite a bit. Been looking around on dA and at another graphics board which has some pr0 photographers at.

Keepin’ up with the latest game news via the good ol’ Opera feeds. I’ve had some time this long weekend so I’ve reserected my old % systems of game progression. I have 33 games to complete which is an awesome amount. Man its crazy. Been playing plenty of Mario Smash Football with Chris which has been the mint. I love how it makes you think quick strategy.

As I mentioned earlier this weekend is a long weekend. I think that its a public holiday today..not sure. In any case I’m having a great time. We had our school formal umm 2 days ago..yeah. Saturday night 7-12. It was great fun. Everybody was dressed up, I like dressing up, its fun.

I had a black suit with a yellow shirt and yellow/orange tie. It was uber nice. Chris had a charcoal suit and purple shirt/tie. He looked really fab in it. John was dropped off at our place(had some photos etc.), then we went to pick up Cam(more photos) and then we went to the formal(even more photos). Jill(Camerons mum)played some U2 on the way there, yay! We were the first people there, about an hr early and they wouldn’t let us in. So we walked around a bit and tested the timer function on John’s camera, that was funny. Eventually other people rolled up, the girls looked really pretty in their lovely dresses. Only about 2 shockers out the lot, ugh. There were no real standouts either, they all looked great! Some of the guys had some great get up, Heath had the best, Chris and I got a snapshot with him. Matty D had a fez and white gloves, Brian had some blue thongs, one of the hanes wore an austin powers get up.

It started off pretty slowly, people just stood around and talked. Then eventually people started dancing. I started off talking to the regulars plus a few of Alex’s friends. Unfortunately one of my Jamiroquai songs that I’d requested(Cosmic Girl, Canned Heat, Little L) was played before people were dancing, it was Canned Heat. Suddenly all of mates figured out that it was a Jamiroquai song and pushed me onto the dance floor. But no one was really dancing, eventually near the end of the song I started dancing with someone. Thats the thing that bugged me, people weren’t dancing as couples they were dancing in groups. The only real couple dancing was with boyfriend n’ girlfriends which bugged me a bit as Krystal couldn’t come(yeah we were going as a friendy couple :)). So that didn’t go too well, once it got moving a bit I started dancing which was good fun. Then I got a little tired, walked around and talked to people, watched some karaoke, had some food and drink. Danced a little bit more, had a sore back, waited in line for some photos, got some photos taken, danced, left.

The songs that the DJ played were relitively ok, bit predictable but ok, the karaoke was good, didn’t eat any of the weird french food. Got Photos taken with John, Chris and Mel, the regulars + Mel and Garions girlfriend, Cass, people from work and solo. They were the professional ones, took plenty with John, Cam and Chris and one with Heath and Chris. Then random people took pictures with me and other people..umm lets see…got one with Shannon and Charlote, umm yeah can’t remember the rest, Morgan and her friends took pictures of Chris and myself as we were twins.

Overall it was a great night. It would have been better if Krystal was there, they played Jamiroquai songs and if they had Cosmic girl on the karaoke list. It was good because unlike in regular circumstances were I would just say Hi to people that I knew I got to talk a bit. Yay!
