Personal PrimeScape has Returned

November 22, 2007

If you are reading this then it should confirm that PrimeScape Personal has made a comeback.

I decided to split my blog (PrimeScape) up into two smaller blogs (PrimeScape and DP’s Gaming Blog) in order to make each one more clearly defined and not so muddled. So what you are reading now is my personal blog at http://primescape.danielprimed.com

Now because of how I have the RSS feeds set up I’ve had to redirect all previous RSS subscribers to this site’s feed. Now I do realize that a lot of you guys only want to read about video gaming, which is totally cool. So if this is the case(and you’re an RSS subscriber) then just click on the image below and you’ll be subscribed to game only content.

Thanks for your co-operation, I seriously appreciate it. Unfortunately I was locked into this decision. Which is so frustrating. If you recieved 20 or so new feeds from various past dates then know that they’d be the last 20 or so posts on this site. Once again, despite my efforts this so unpreventable.

Why 2 Blogs and Not Just One?

If you are a long time reader then you’d know that back around June I was having some identity woes with the blog. I’d been writing about myself for about 2 years and decided that I wanted to change my perspective and write about my life long hobby; video games. After sometime tossing up between the two, I decided to write just about games. Which meant that I had a video game blog with 2 years of posts about myself. Furthermore my personal blog was full of design tutorials from a previous site I worked for.

I should also mention that in the last few months I discovered that I really wanted to write about myself again but in doing so I didn’t want to alienate the video game based audience that I had then formed.

So here we are, almost half a year later I have finally sorted this out. Originally I wanted to solve this whole problem by having 3 blogs (one more which is the now defunct: Success in the Digital Life) but this was too much to manage.

So What Can We Expect From This Blog?

The thing is I really have been itching to do some more personal writing. Back when I started focusing solely on video games my personal life became a lot better (all in the space of a week too). Since then I’ve been so chuffed, although I said the same thing, this time last year. I feel dead on track and I feel happier than I ever have before.

So, what I’ll be doing is filling in the blanks for the last few months as well as continuing the trend at my own pace. I don’t think that I’ll post as much as previously did with the personal posts nor will they be such account of what I’ve been doing.

I also plan on bringing all of the Success in the Digital Life posts over here in due time. So I’ll have my personal posts, old tutorials and SDL stuff. Along with this I plan on writing up some posts in Chinese, I’ll probably just have a category for this. I’ll be using this as a hub for my Chinese friends to check out my work and provide some critique.

Conclusion

Alright, everything is back on track. I am so relieved. I’ll be spending some time to fix a few problems, rewrite some pages, tagging etc. If there are any major changes I’ll let you guys know. If you do spot any site issues or have any concerns then let me know via the comment box or contact form.

Thanks heaps for your continued interest.
